Using art + advocacy to empower communities.
In the face of recent and coming executive orders that threaten the well-being and safety of our friends, families, and neighbors, Trillium Project stands unwavering in its commitment to equity, justice, and the honest, inclusive practices that have always guided our mission. We recognize the fear and uncertainty that these abhorrent policies bring, but we remain resolute in our support for ALL PEOPLE.
Our work will remain grounded in the belief that the arts and culture should be a force for unity, understanding, and social change. We will not be swayed or cowed by opposition, nor will we be discouraged by those who seek to sow division and harm. We affirm our responsibility to create spaces that are welcoming, safe, and inclusive for everyone, regardless of race, nationality, gender identity, or socioeconomic status.
In this moment, and in those yet to come, we stand in solidarity with those who are most impacted and will continue to use our platforms to amplify the voices and stories of those who are too often silenced. We pledge to uphold these values even in the face of adversity, and we commit to acting in ways that protect the dignity and rights of all individuals. Our work will persist with honesty, transparency, and a deep commitment to fairness and justice.
Together, we will resist hate and injustice, and we will fight for a world where all people can thrive without fear.
Trillium Project will not stand down. We will stand together.
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather and create is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Shawnee, Wyandot, Miami, and Delaware (Lanape) peoples. These Indigenous communities have stewarded this land for generations, maintaining a deep connection to the Ohio River Valley. We honor their enduring presence, history, and culture, and strive to recognize and respect their contributions to the arts and to this region. We commit to understanding our shared history and fostering a future of mutual respect and collaboration with Native communities.
Trillium Project celebrates Black, indigenous, people of color, Queer, immigrants, refugees, and all people who face racism, classism, and discrimination. We are committed to supporting unity, equity, and social responsibility in art and community.
