Take pART: Portsmouth’s Art, Renewal, and Transformation

Supported by the Ohio Arts Council and Heard, Take pART was a Kickstart initiative using visual arts to address unmet needs of the Portsmouth, Ohio community.
In Summer 2023, community-created crosswalk murals were installed in areas of impact and opportunity. Since then, Take pART projects were absorbed into our new Second Glance initiative, which expands on asphalt art and includes new community art projects for Portsmouth.
